Jordan Brandman was elected to the Anaheim City Council in November 2018, representing District 2 in west Anaheim.
Brandman previously served on the City Council from 2012 to 2016.
Before first joining the Council, Brandman served as a trustee for Anaheim Union High School District and the North Orange County Regional Occupation Program.
He also previously served as chairman of the Anaheim Public Utilities Board.
While on the Council in 2015, Brandman represented Anaheim on the board of directors of the Orange County Water District.
Brandman works in strategic public affairs, focusing on economic development.
He has previously worked as a policy adviser in the governor's office for the secretary of education and as a legislative aide in the California Assembly, working on issues such as affordable housing, education, local government and transportation.
Brandman received his bachelor’s in political science from the University of California, Irvine.
He has been active in many community organizations, including the Anaheim Family YMCA, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim, Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, Anaheim Historical Society, Anaheim Beautiful and the Kiwanis Club of Greater Anaheim.
