We want to ensure that you have access to core services including clean water and reliable power. During these difficult times, we have suspended all shutoffs for non-payment as well as non-essential planned outages. We'll work with you to get through this unprecedented event, together.
If you are experiencing financial hardship due to a loss of employment or other circumstances, give us a call at (714) 765-3300 to help you with bill credits, programs, and resources.
Emergency assistance: The Anaheim Public Utilities Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Emergency Assistance Program provides financial assistance to residential customers facing a temporary financial hardship.
LIHEAP: Anaheim customers can receive utility payment assistance on their electric bill through the federally-funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) administered through Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAPOC).
Bill deferrals: We are offering payment extensions and will work with you to get you back on track.
Income qualified discounts: Customers who meet income-qualified guidelines may be eligible to participate in one or more utility discount programs.
Medical allowances: If you or someone who lives in your home uses life-support equipment, you may be eligible to pay a lower rate for some of your electricity.
We are now open at Anaheim West Tower (201 S. Anaheim Blvd.). Our customer service lobby and cashiers counters on the first floor are open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Scammers have been extremely active during the coronavirus crisis
and are preying on unsuspecting individuals. Remember, we have suspended all disconnections due to non-payment so don't be fooled. If you get a suspicious call, hang up and call 311 (within city limits) or 714-765-3300 (outside of city limits).
